Shipping
and Delivery Method
Most
orders are shipped directly from the factories and warehouses where the
products are stored. Orders for multiple products may be shipped from two or
more locations and even different states. Therefore, if you receive a delivery
of only part of the order you placed, more than likely there is one or more
deliveries still on the way to you. The shipping carriers used are determined
by the point of origin factories.
Expediting
Orders
We
start processing orders as soon as we get them. Most of our orders are
processed and shipped within 3-4 business days from the time the order was
placed. Let us know your need-date and we will inform you by email if your
order cannot be fulfilled in a timely manner.
Rush!
Service
The
Rush! Service is an option we offer to customers who need their order delivered
ASAP. Rush! Service will move your order ahead of other orders and get it out
of the warehouse the same or next business day. Rush! Service expedites the
processing of your order, but it DOES NOT UPGRADE SHIPPING. Shipping upgrades
require an additional charge. The non-refundable Rush! Service charge is $20 and
is available for most products.
Shipping
Upgrades
Once
your order leaves the warehouse the number of days it will take to get to you
depends on where you, the customer, are located. Ground transportation is the
slowest and may take up to 10 days. In most cases we offer two shipping upgrade
services that will guarantee the delivery time selected: "2 Day" and "Next
Day" express. Where USPS is the carrier, upgrading is possible only to
Express Mail which will get the package to you within 1-2 days. Costs for
upgrades in shipping and handling are quoted by email. We will send you an
email to let you know what the cost is and will wait for your acknowledgement.
If we do not receive a response from you within 12 hours, we will charge your
credit card for ground shipping and handling costs, and the order will be
shipped by ground transportation.
Order
Cancellation
We
start processing your order as soon as we get it. Orders placed on a week day
and cancelled 12 hours after they were submitted will incur a 20% cancellation
fee. Orders placed after 3 PM Eastern on a Friday may be cancelled before 7 AM
Eastern on the following Monday without incurring a penalty.
Claim
of Delivery
Customers
are responsible for merchandise which the shipping carrier records as
delivered.
Delivery
to Wrong Address
Shipments
that cannot be delivered by the carrier due to wrong of missing information
supplied by the customer will be subject to a 25% handling fee. Please be sure
to give us both your physical address and your PO Box Number if you have one.

to $299.00- shipping and handling is $26.00
Over
$300.00-shipping and handling is FREE except when upgrading delivery or if any
part of the order is returned.
Satisfaction
RETURNS
Return
Policy
Your
satisfaction is most important to us. Please note our return policy as
restrictions apply:
1. Contact
Smartbrideonline via e-mail within 5 days of merchandise receipt. DO NOT PHONE
us for a return request.
2. You must get
prior authorization from Smartbrideonline before making a return. We will email
you an authorization code and an address where to return the item. Returns
received without an authorization e-mail from Smartbrideonline will be sent
back. The cost of the return shipping and handling will be charged to the
credit card on file.
3. Returns must be
received no later than 2 weeks after receiving the return authorization (via
email) from Smartbrideonline. Returns affect our buying and inventory control.
It is important for us to get your return when we expect it. NO CREDIT WILL BE
ISSUED FOR RETURNS ARRIVING AFTER THE TWO WEEK DEADLINE.
4. Some of our
vendors charge a 25-30% restocking fee. Contact us by email (esther@smartbrideonline.com)
or by phone (856 753-8818) for details on restocking fees.
5. All returned
veils will incur a 25% restocking fee.
6. Products must be
returned in their original condition and cello packaging. Each product is
wrapped separately and it is important to send it back wrapped the way you
received it. Products cannot be resold without this protective wrapping.
Products returned in any other condition will be subject to a 50% restocking
fee or returned at our discretion.
7. PERSONALIZED AND
HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS cannot be returned. If you are not sure whether a product
can be returned, send us an email with the product number (esther@smartbrideonline.com).

8. Return shipping
cost is the responsibility of the customer.
Refund
for Returns
Refunds
for accepted returns will be issued to the credit card on file as soon as the
return is processed. Original shipping and handling charges and drop-ship
charges are not refundable. These are monies already spent by Smartbrideonline to
ship the package to you and are no longer available for refund. In the case
where merchandise is damaged and it has been determined by Smartbrideonline
that the damage occurred by circumstances other than mishandling by the
customer, shipping and handling charges are refundable. The maximum credit to
be issued for shipping and handling charges (original shipping cost of product
to the customer) for damaged products will be the ground shipping cost listed
in our shipping and handling cost rates listed above.
We have been married for 35 years and live in New Jersey. We created a successful chain of card and gift stores which we owned and operated for over 20 years.
